Instructions

1. Make a mailbox for each child.
Attach each child's
photograph to his mailbox.
Show the children how they
can find their mailboxes by
looking for their pictures.
2. Put note paper, crayons or
markers, and stickers in a
basket in the classroom.
Encourage the children to
"write" notes to their friends and
deliver them to their mailboxes,
using the photos to find the right
mailboxes.
3. Place another basket with note paper, markers, and stickers in an area
outside of the classroom where families and caregivers wait to pick up
the children.
4. Put a small sign next to the basket that invites families and caregivers to
write notes and little wishes to their children.
