What to do
1. Cut out patterns (one for each child)
for Humpty's parts: egg-shaped
body, two arms, and two legs.
Depending on the age group, make
more or fewer pieces.
2. For a background, draw a brick wall
on paper and make copies.
3. Have children put Humpty-Dumpty
back together again by gluing the
parts together on the brick wall
background.
4. Invite the children to draw a face on
Humpty Dumpty and add background
details such as sun, clouds, a
hat, etc.

Language: Using a flannel board and
felt pieces, put Humpty-Dumpty
together again while reciting the
rhyme with the class.
