Instructions
1. Using the illustrations as guides, cut out or help the children cut out carp
shapes from paper. (Each child will need two carp shapes.)
2. Encourage the children to use markers to decorate the carp shapes.
3. To reinforce the paper, fold the top/mouth area of the carp shapes.
4. Help the children glue or staple the sides of the two carp pieces together. (If
you use glue, allow it to dry.)
5. Punch three holes, somewhat evenly spaced, on the folded mouth opening
(adult only). Use notebook paper hole reinforcers or tape to reinforce the
holes.
6. Tie one string in each hole. Bring the three strings together and tie them
together. Make a loop to hang the carp.
