Instructions

1. Take the children into a large, open area (indoors or outdoors).
2. Encourage the children to pretend they are trees. Say the following
rhyme with them.
A seed is dropped on the ground.
The seed begins to grow.
It grows very slowly and becomes a tree.
Leaves grow on the tree.
The tree grows flowers.
The flowers turn into apples.
The apples fall to the ground and people pick them.
The leaves turn into fall colors and drop to the ground.
3. If desired, play soft music as the children sway like branches in wind.
