Instructions
1. Show the children the plant material and let them examine it. Encourage
them to feel the textures, look for veins, compare shapes, and so on.
2. Let children paint on one side of the plant part with a roller, paintbrush, or
sponge.
3. Show children how to place several painted plant parts paint side down onto
white construction paper, cover the paper and plants with newspaper, and
rub and press down on the objects through the newspaper.
4. Ask them to remove the newspaper and the object to reveal the print.
