Instructions

What to do
1. Before class, cut a tiny snip in the straws about half-way up in case the children try to suck up
the paint.
2. Pour the paint into cups.
3. Have the children squeeze droplets of color onto their paper using the eyedroppers, then ask
them to blow the paint around the paper with their straws, blending the colors.
More to do
More art: Add different colors to the choices. Cut paper into the shape of an object or animal and
have the children paint it with straws. Cut a chain of paper doll shapes and drop a different color
of paint onto each doll, then ask the children to blow the paint with their straws, creating colorful
outfits for their paper classmates.
