a 12" x 18" piece of paper. Trace a purse for each child on the green
construction paper. Each child should get two copies (front and back).
2. Read the book The Lady With the Alligator Purse and tell the children that
they are going to make an alligator purse.
3. Help the children cut out the purse (using the solid lines as a guide).
4. Encourage them to use markers to decorate their purse.
5. Instruct the children to tape the purse together, leaving the top open.
6. Ask the children to take their purses home and bring them back filled with a
treat to have an Alligator Purse Party!
