scarf

2 small tree branches

construction paper for face or hair

Instructions

1. Bring winter into your classroom by building a snowman that won't melt.
2. Stuff two white plastic trash bags with old newspaper. Twist the ends closed
on both bags.
3. Stack them on top of each other with the twisted ends in the middle. Tape
the two bags together using clear packing tape.
4. After they are taped, complete the
snowman by adding stick arms, a hat, a
scarf, facial features, and hair. Make the
face and hair using construction paper or
anything else you desire.
5. Add a magic touch by cutting out a red
heart and writing "I love you" on it.
6. Let each child make his own snowman
to create a snow family.
