Fishing

- Remove the top from a cardboard box. Place several metal bottle tops-painted bright colors, if possible-in the box.
- Tie a piece of string to a stick and a magnet to the free end of the string.
- Show your child how to "fish" in the box, catching the bottle tops with the magnet.
- If you have painted the bottle tops, direct your child to fish for a certain color.
- After you have caught all the bottle caps, count how many you have, then start all over again.
