What to do
- Glue the skin samples onto the cardboard, one per piece.
- Cut out pictures of whole animals, and glue them on cards, again, one per piece.
- Ask the children to match the skin samples with the cards of the whole figures.
More to do More Science: Ecourage the children to categorize skin sample cards by common characteristics: soft, smooth, rough, etc. Have a magnifying glass available to observe sample cards and children's own skin.
